FAQ
Both. Most of our customers choose our full supply-and-fit service — we handle everything from stripping out the old room through to tiling, plumbing, and the final finish. But if you already have a fitter and just need products, we can supply from our full range at competitive prices.
We're based at Clay Flatts Trading Estate in Workington and cover West Cumbria and the surrounding area — including Whitehaven, Cockermouth, Maryport, Cleator Moor, Egremont, Keswick, and Carlisle. Not sure if we cover your postcode? Give us a call on 01900 267665 and we'll let you know.
Most standard bathroom refits take between 5 and 10 working days from strip-out to final finish. Larger bathrooms, en-suites with complex tiling, or rooms that need structural work can take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your quote so there are no surprises.
No. We have our own team who handle every trade — plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and finishing. You deal with us, and we coordinate everything. No juggling multiple contractors, no gaps in responsibility.
Yes — and we'd encourage you to. Our showroom at Unit 8, Clay Flatts Trading Estate, Workington is open Monday to Friday 9am–4:30pm and Saturday 10am–2pm (closed Sunday). You can see sanitaryware, tiles, and kitchen styles on display, and our team can walk you through the options in person.
Everything. Our quotes itemise supply, fitting, all labour, waste removal, and a realistic timeline. We don't add surprises after the fact. If something changes during the job, we'll discuss it with you before proceeding.
Yes. We stand behind what we fit. If anything isn't right once the job is complete, we'll come back and sort it. We've been trading in West Cumbria for over 15 years, and our reputation is built on customers recommending us to family and friends — so getting it right matters to us.

It depends on the size of the room, whether the layout is changing, how much tiling or panelling you want, and the spec of the suite. One Stop Bathrooms & Interiors prices every job after a home visit — Amanda measures the room and gives you an itemised quote covering supply, fitting, all labour and waste removal, with no surprise additions after the work starts.
Most standard bathroom refits take between 5 and 10 working days from strip-out to final finish. Larger bathrooms, complex tiling or rooms that need structural work can take longer — the exact timescale is discussed at the home visit and written into your quote.
Yes. Most customers choose the full supply-and-fit service, but if you already have a fitter and just need the products, One Stop can supply sanitaryware, showers, tiles and panels from the Workington showroom at competitive prices.
One Stop's own team, led by Mike. Plumbing, tiling, carpentry and finishing are all handled in-house and coordinated by us, so you deal with one company and one number for the whole job — no juggling separate trades.
Yes. Wet rooms and level-access walk-in showers are a core part of what One Stop fits. Tanking, falls and drainage are done properly first, so the tiles or panels on top last — we treat the waterproofing as the job and the finish as the reward.
Call us and we come back and fix it. One Stop stands behind what it fits — the business has built its reputation in West Cumbria on customers recommending it to family and friends, so getting it right matters to us.

One Stop Bathrooms & Interiors is a Milano by Symphony retailer. Symphony is one of Britain's largest kitchen manufacturers, and the Milano ranges — shaker, contemporary and handleless styles — are on display in the Workington showroom to see and touch before you order.
At a national chain the person who sells your kitchen never sees your house. At One Stop the person who measures your room designs it, orders it and is on site when it goes in. Nothing gets lost between departments because there aren't any.
Yes — design, supply and fitting from one team. Electrics, plumbing, tiling and flooring are coordinated by One Stop, so you have one number for the whole job. Supply-only is also fine if you already have a fitter.
It depends on the size of the kitchen and whether walls, electrics or flooring are changing. Amanda discusses a realistic timescale at the home visit and it goes into your quote in writing, along with a start and finish date we strive to stick to.
Yes — that's the point of the showroom at Unit 8, Clay Flatts Trading Estate, Workington. Doors, worktops, handles and lighting are all on display in daylight, so you stand in the combination before you commit to it. No appointment needed.

Both work well; it depends on the room and your taste. Wall panels like Multipanel are 100% waterproof with no grout to scrub and are quicker to fit; tiles from brands like Porcelanosa and Nu Tile give you more choice of pattern, format and texture. Many bathrooms One Stop fits use both — panels in the shower, tiles on the floor.
Porcelanosa — the Spanish tile house trusted by designers worldwide — and Nu Tile, which covers wall and floor tiles for every room and budget. Both are on the wall in the Workington showroom, so you see full tiles in daylight rather than a small swatch.
Both. Tiling is part of every One Stop bathroom and kitchen fit, handled by our own team. If you just want the tiles, supply-only from the showroom is fine too.

Yes — Multipanel panels are 100% waterproof and are made in the UK by Grant Westfield. Panels click together with the Hydrolock joint system for a watertight seam without visible trims, and they carry a 30-year warranty.
Usually, yes. Multipanel can be fitted directly over sound existing tiles, which cuts strip-out time and mess. We check the condition of the wall at the home visit before confirming.
Panels are generally quicker to fit than tiling because there is no grouting and fewer wet trades, which reduces labour time. The honest comparison for your room depends on its size and condition — Amanda prices both options after a home visit if you want to compare.

Fires from the Flare Collection — from classic inserts and surrounds to linear fires designed for media walls. They're on display in the Workington showroom alongside the wall panelling they're often built into.
Yes. A media wall is joinery, electrics and finish, and One Stop designs it around the fire and the screen, builds it, and hands you one finished wall — rather than leaving you to coordinate a joiner, an electrician and a decorator yourself.
It depends on the size of the wall, the fire you choose and the panelling or finish around it. Amanda prices the whole job after a home visit, itemised so you can see exactly what's included.
